Nature's Calling Event: Share Your Gameplay Thread (Ends Sept 2nd)

Is there a thread somewhere about catching frogs not counting toward this event? I was supposed to catch 2 and I've caught 3 so far and it still won't count. I've tried at my lot and at Desert Bloom park - is there a specific place I need to go? also so far the only place I CAN catch frogs is in ponds b/c the other places like the broken pump thingy aren't working - I click on it and choose look for frogs and the task just disappears out of my queue. I shot a short video of it, but I can't upload it here.
