I am working on the Nature's Calling Event Week 3. When I try to do the Find 2 frogs one, I go to the pond -> click the find frogs command, and when I do catch frogs successfully, the counter doesn't go up. I am on PC, Latest Update, no Mods or CC currently.

I went back home because I didn't see any logs or ponds that I could "Look for Frogs" in at Secret Sands. When I came back I installed that pond with a sign that allows fishing there. When I selected the "Look for Frogs" option on my pond, none of the caught frogs ever counted towards completing the quest, either. I'm playing on the PS4 version on my original PlayStation 5 system with the latest version of the game.
I went to Oais springs and looked for frogs there. Eventhough she didn't actually catch any frogs ( said that alas she didnt catch anything) just trying to was enough to tick them off. Very odd. I think you have to go to that specific pond maybe? It has the lil leaves from the event next to the option to look for frogs.
Okay I figured it out. The quest text / guidance is WRONG! I just found the 2 frogs. You have to go to Oasis Springs, and find the little water tap wells and do the "search for frogs" on those. Those count. The picture I am posting though is confusing as heck because it says to find a log or pond anywhere and search for frogs when that is clearly wrong.
I caught them in the pond by the chess tables at the front and it counted. But the sleep while listening to nature sounds task won't complete for me, seems like the whole event is a bit buggy.
I tried and failed to catch a frog twice in a pond. The counter didn’t go up after the first attempt, but after the second the task cleared anyway.
I completed it on homelot pond - albeit it having visual glitches - the pond itself. Sim I used I had freewill temporarily turned off so they wouldn't go do something else, just queued up catch a frog a lot. fastest speed on game until speed started bugging out game went back to normal time let it register-catchup.
They tell you to go here, the Desert Bloom Park in Oasis Springs. Just the original park that the game ships with. It's this pond.

I've caught 3 frogs now and none of them have counted toward the required 2 I have to catch. Can you help?
Also the broken pump thingy that we can look for frogs in seems broken throughout the game.
I was having difficulty with some items not completing, even though I knew they were done. Turning mods and cc off in game options fixed it for me.
