I speed run the event yesterday... Only thing I enjoyed was the free stuff. The event gameplay was boring and repetitive for me and interrupted my normal gameplay. I even had to play with other computer than my own because I still don't want to update my own game (bugs) and one have to be online to claim the stuff. 

I hope the Sims team will reconsider this consept. Events can be fun for some, but maybe release the stuff for all after the event? What would be the downside?
