Need alien inspiration

I have an alien couple who are dating and recently moved in together. The guy was the result of an abduction, so he's spent his whole life on Earth (or wherever sims live), and his girlfriend is an alien he met on his first visit to Sixam using his adoptive father's rocket. They story behind them is that, basically, they ended up together not just because they like each other, but because they want to learn from each other. She's going to teach him all about aliens, and he's going to teach her all about sims. At some point, they'll have kids and they'll take them all to Sixam so they can learn about their heritage.

I'm not sure what type of pet I would give them, but the house they live in is a normal-looking house in Windenburg.
