I'm not talking about the songs you can write by RTF. I'm talking about having your Sim sit down at the piano and write SONG, not lyrics. There are six songs on the piano; six songs on the digital organ thing (the portable one), five each on the guitar and violin. These are the songs Erik has written. As he was composing I just listened to them and gave it a title I thought matched the music. (I pretend he's written lyrics, but so far none he writes with lyrics are ever considered.) I would love it if EA gave GF a refresh to include lyrics and perhaps gave additional categories, too. Of course, it helps if you get your Sims to max each skill for those instruments. You can't license them until they are 9 at least. Erik has maxed them out, but then again he's a Musical Genius.
