You need a data spike item. You can find these in crates, scrap piles, get them from missions, or buy from the shop in the Cantina district.

Thanks so much for the reply, I am almost sure I used all my credits to get her a few of those, thinking it was the issue too. Busy loading my game then I can confirm.

You have to analyze it first - it works sort of like the traps in Jungle Adventures - you may have to analyze it several times to narrow it down to the correct option. Not sure why your analyze option is grayed out though.

Its grayed out because she has already analyzed it, I am completely dumbfounded by this task LOL. Thanks for the reply, hopefully we all will figure it out, its part of the aspiration.

I might try and put my little droid away so that his little options does not come up. Hopefully that will help, brb with my findings ;)

Steps: Analyze (one time per area I believe) practice, and then there are usually 2 or 3 choices but one usually is green or a thumb up. Do that and then do the last part you need (getting a package, etc)

And buy a ton of dataspikes as they are use one time only.

Ok, that did not work either, the control panel can still not be analyzed. I sent her home now, gonna see if that might reset things if she goes back again.

Thanks for your reply, I did those options when I had to get the package and some codes and thingies, but just for the slicing its not giving me the option to slice, just practice slicing. I have sent her home now, so will see if that perhaps reset the control panels since I used them for previous missions. Hopefully that will work :)

Yeah that did not work either, for interest sake I am going to start a new save and see what happens

Bummer it is not working for you. Not sure if it is tied to any skills - my sim had high logic, handiness, and programming when she went to Batuu.
