Need ideas for activities my Sims can do on the weekends!

I've noticed I tend to play my households always in the same way, and I started to use randomizers to decide where my Sims are gonna live and what jobs should they have. I kinda followed the Random Legacy Challenge rules and it helped to diversify my gameplay, but I'm still a bit stuck when it comes to family activities and things my Sims can do during the weekends/family time.

I used to almost avoid traveling to other lots, because I played on PS4 (with almost all packs) and loading times were a nightmare. But I've recently updated to a PS5, and the game runs so much better, so I can now finally have my Sims travel here and there without worries.

So throw at me your activities ideas!!!
It can be either something they do at home (like a party or a barbecue), or something they have to travel to a specific world for (like hiking in Mt. Komorebi).
Don't worry if they are activities exclusive to a certain pack, I have almost all of them. Just keep in mind that I'm looking for things you can do on a weekend or on a free day (a small vacation of 3 days at most), not big, life-changing events.
And of course, no mods or ideas involving CC, as I play on console.

Thanks in advance of your help! I can't wait to here what your Sims luke to do and see my list of activities to randomize grow longer and longer!

  • @PifflePrincess I think I can help you with some ideas, but some may require imagination.

    • Go Camping in Your Backyard
    • Go Camping in Granite Falls
    • Have a Beach Day
    • Have a Spa Day
    • Create a Volunteer Day (Sulani Beach Pickup)
    • Have a Friends & Family BBQ
    • Create a Game Day (pretend The Sims has a Super Bowl)
    • Go on Date Nights
    • Create a Music Festival
    • Game Night (Pizza & Bowling)
    • Movie Night
    • Karaoke Night (Competition)
    • Utilize the City Living Festivals
    • Create Your Own Seasonal Festivals

    Hope this helps! :)
  • @PifflePrincess what packs (stuff, game, expansion) do you have? Some packs come with their own activities; like the bowling stuff pack lets you set up bowling lanes & go bowling. Another has slip & slide type things. If you have Outdoor Retreat you can vacation in the world that came with it.

    Just a couple of ideas.
  • I like the following if my sims have free time.
    - do something creative at the house like playing a musical instrument (mostly violin) painting, knitting or cross-stitching
    - if it is just a few hours I have them play on a gaming console on TV or a board game like don't wake the llama. I like that both of these can be done by multiple sims together
    - go to the beach for a day (sulani or tartosa)
    - go hiking in Mt Komorebi
    - go sledding or skiing if it suits the season
    - visit a festival in San mychuno or Mt Komorebi if one is happening. Some are during the week but still fun if it happens to be a day off at work
    - go bowling
    - have dinner at a restaurant
    - visit a spa
    - do some yoga or exercise at the gym to loose a few pounds
    - have a club gathering. I created a group of friends to easily gather people to hang out with
  • My sim mom and her three daughters usually have a spa appointment and then go out for lunch.

My clubs usually meet on the weekends.

Saturday night is dinner and dancing or the whole family goes out for dinner.

Lots of family barbeques, pool parties.

    Picnics.

Movie night with popcorn and ice cream.

Weekends in Selvadorada, My. Komorebi, Granite Falls.

    Dog park.
