Needs No One Aspiration reward, got a question

My question is, will the Needs No One aspiration reward keep your Sim from getting very sad when another Sims dies? The description says your Sim doesn't need social but does that just mean no social ...

they'll still get sad if someone they knew dies, they just need less social interactions.
