I actually want my Sims to be happier. They still look zoned out when they’re doing fun activities like snowball fights. I want more smiles and laughter.
Not to be rude, but how can they be any happier? The sims default emotion is literally Happy :D :D If you want your sims to be happy all the time, then maybe you should just take better care of them?..
I agree with the OP that happy buffs are way too strong in the game. I don't know why they haven't fixed this by now. An emotion for a "well decorated room" shouldn't be stronger than the emotions for Break ups, deaths, fights or Divorce. It just doesn't make sense.
And Fine should be the default, not Happy.
Im certainly not fine with my sims have permanent smiles on their faces, especially when things are going on with their life that doesnt warrant a big ol' happy smile. Just because a room has a pretty picture in it doesnt make a recent breakup any better. What does it take for actual negative emotions to last for more than a couple hours? Im honestly thinking of trying out this mod just so my sims arent acting as though they live in a utopia where nothing bad ever happens. And I agree, Fine is the perfect default mood.
