- JesLet40Seasoned AceI customise it per family, as there are some where I prefer there not to be changes - or only some type of changes - while others I care less about and leave everything on for.
- telemwillSeasoned AceI have it completely turned off. I play in rotation with basically everysim. I might use it later if I decide I don't want to play some Sims or just try it out in a new save.
- milutinmujovicNew NoviceI have everything turned on for every household, but I have disabled adoptions as I really like to see different genetic outcomes. It's so fun!
For some reason, Nina Caliente and Vlad Straud had a baby. You cannot imagine the horror, lol!
On the other hand, Bella and Mortimer Goth had another child, and she looks soooooo beautiful, it's like she picked the best features from both parents. - Kimmer_oneRising TravelerI'm still testing it in one save. I only one play one household in it so I didn't need to adjust any specific settings. I only turned off Sims moving away from their houses. I don't think I want to see Goths moving away from their house... or Vlad... or Pancakes... or Landgraabs. Their houses suit for them so well, I'd feel uncomfortable to see them living in some house that's too small or otherwise not suitable for them. I think that setting will be always turned off on my saves.
When I will play saves where I have several of my own Sims households I will probably turn completely off the stories for them. I don't want them to die or adopt a bunch of random kids. - elliebretonSeasoned Ace@MilutinMujovic ooh, I didn't realise it would actually give a baby two parents if they are not living together. I thought maybe it would just randomly spawn a baby.
Interesting outcomes possible... - So I have it all on in a save where I play a single family, and it didn't take Don Lothario long to explode from anger. Problem is I have no idea where he lived in this save so it is kind of hard to check the consequences for the household. It would be nice with some sort of lot register so I could check up where everyone lives, sinc MCCC has moved them around quit a lot.
- atreya33Seasoned AceI have it off for played sims.
For unplayed households, I have it off for a start. I will make two or three test households where I will let the neighbourhood stories have a go. Depending on the results, I might leave a few options on for unplayed households, in particular I am considering have a child, adopt a pet and join a career. - PuzzlingMysterySeasoned VeteranOff for all played sims/so off for all sims under "My household."
On for all households in Other Households. Right now everything is on...Expect moving in/out. No one is moving. Everyone who is in a house right now, is staying there; unless I say otherwise.
Though, that being said, there are some Other Households where I customized the settings, depending on family, and what I wanted that family being able to do or not do. - MrMuffinTotSeasoned NoviceI personally filled every home in every world with premade sim families and that took way to long to do to let any of them die and get swapped with some random generated one, so sadly I can't use the death option (even though I want to), so I have every family with personalized settings.
I also can't use the move out feature b.c every sim is set to live in places that make sense, in homes that make sense. For example I turned Oasis springs into ancient egypt, designing sims and trying to dress them accordingly. It would urk me if I saw my ancient Egypt sims living in my medieval world windenburg and my medieval sims living in the steampunk world of strangerville. lol
I do hope they will add a monarch option to help offset the death system though. Like the 2 head of home sims can't die, but everyone in the family can. Then I wouldn't have to worry about the sims I placed in the homes dying and being replaced with a bad RNG, while at the same time getting to enjoy some randomness. - I've now got 4 different setups.
My default for "My Housholds" that are unplayed is to allow them to have babies and adopt pets, nothing else.
My settings for "My Households" that are played is to turn it off entirely.
My default for "Other Households" is to turn on everything except random move outs and deaths.
My custom setting for "Other Households" which are elderly sims is to turn on only random deaths and retirement. (MCCC moves elder sims here automatically with my settings).
