My sim Meredith was invited to Johnny Zest's birthday party on her first day in-game. She was the only guest who showed up. He'd even hired a caterer!
She felt bad for him, and gave him some lonely birthday sympathy woohoo. This required her to end the party early and take him back to her place, because Johnny, being such a player and all, sleeps in a twin bed and has no place at all to woohoo in his trailer.
Two days later, she saw him while she was working and he acted like he didn't know her. She just wanted to keep being friends with him, but apparently that was too much to ask now that he'd gotten what he wanted out of her.
If she'd known then what she knows now, she'd have just let him age up and then gone home alone.
