Never Satisfied.

Even when you try to be positive and hopeful there's always something off about this 4th generation of The Sims. After 6 years it just makes you tired of it!

I try so hard to be positive about the game, but it's not the same. It's like an unsatisfying piece of cake, it's what you've been craving and yet it's not good as you hoped it would be.

I'm so glad my Sims 4 doesn't lag like in Sims 3. I also appreciate that the Canadian "Red Tape" was finally lifted off so that I was finally able to get the Game Packs & Stuff Packs back in 2018. Four years of only being able to get Expansions only drove me & my daughter bonko. We so appreciate being able to let our game grow.

I think the developers should have to play TS2 for a month.
So they can learn how to be irreverent, and how to incorporate it into the game.

I miss the crudeness, I miss the silliness, I miss the ridiculousness, and I miss the darker things.

Maybe it's just not for you. You shouldn't have to work that hard to enjoy a game.

I like it without having to stress about it, but if my game lagged, I would be so annoyed... maybe play the sims games you enjoy instead.

I can't I don't have anything else, except for this head ache of a game.

The Sims 4 reminds me of fast food restaurants where I live. In my case you wait for years for a new one, because there were not many to choose from here. Ok, a new one moves in, they try hard to get the orders right, the first several months are alright for a fast food service. But as the years go by, they go down hill really bad. They stop getting the orders right, they are sloooow, you could have ordered something faster in a sit down restaurant> They change the menu to things you would never buy to eat there. If I want fruit I will buy fruit. I don't expect it at a hamburger joint. They start just slopping it up, no longer care, you open the bag to see your burger is just thrown together, it's messy, sloppy, they forgot what you told them to put on it, and in many cases it's the wrong order. TS4 seems to have become a greasy spoon, but it always was, with the lack of pickles, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, sauce etc. since day one.

And how to make in depth game play, the little details that add up to an immersive game, real personalities for sims, wants & fears, an honest memory system, an attraction system, worlds with many lots, worlds with functioning cars...

Honestly, I play TS2 way more than TS4. TS4 just feels so watered down from a gameplay perspective that I just can't bring myself to play it for more than an hour or two and even then it's mostly CAS and build. It's not immersive, it's extremely repetitive, I personally don't like the kiddy aesthetics of certain assets and the overly colorful swatches, most features are cheap knock offs of past games like the retail system....anyways. I haven't bought a pack since the eco lifestyle and I honestly don't see a reason to.
