New 2025 Roadmap Released: Motherlode Season

I hope it includes martial arts and ballet. My martial artist Sim should be able to practice martial arts,and my ballerina Sim should have ballet stuff to practice on.

If that is indeed it, then I am torn. It could feel like a GTW2 where they just grab money instead of refreshing a pack in desperate need of refresh, but done right it and together with a refresh it could potentially be a lot of fun. 

• A BG update for multipurpose lots, so we can build malls, run businesses from our homes and combine lots in all imaginative ways. 
• A major update of all shelves in game (BG and packs) to allow them to fit more items and work better in a store setting. 
• An update to all venues to make vendors work on all communal lots
• A small refresh to GTW so that the two seamlessly work together, including adding new things to GTW such as a changing booth, browsable clothes racks, food displays... 
• An update to GF so that the stylist chair becomes functional with NPCs in communal venues (or at least some types of communal venues, like a spa or retail)
• Then the pack itself: 
  • Option to buy and run almost any type of venue (bar, café, lounge, nightclub, gym...) with a ticket desk/front desk item to charge entry fees
  • Sewing machine and more mannequins to make and sell clothes, curtains and other things made from fabric
  • Fashion runway to show off those clothes  (also working with knitting of course)
  • More options of what to make on a wood working table, such as functional toys, more versions of furniture, frames for artwork... alternatively new toy maker station
  • Ability to create lamps and lighting or tinker with electricity (with risk of electrocution if you're not good at it)
  • Hair dresser chair and barber chair that also work with NPC hair dressers 
  • Pottery wheel
  • Glass blowing
  • Tattoo chair
  • Ballet or jazz dance bar
  • More gym options (cross fit equipment, exercise bike, gymnastic tools)
  • Sports: tennis or volleyboll
  • More instruments and bands (that could work with booking them into your owned lounge, or trying to be booked if you play in a band, a recording studio...) 
  • Pool table, shuffle board table
  • Cars and mechanics skill - the option to run a garage and fix other people's cars. 

Hopefully they'll confirm the expansion that was leaked and maybe even show us a reveal trailer Thursday.

I see a pottery wheel, something that definitely looks like a wanted poster, a workshop (could just be the kit, doesn't need to be cars and mechanics, although one might hope), I do see a thread hinting at sewing, but there is also a kit geared to older sims, so perhaps just decor in that one, but one might definitely hope for sewing. Lots of references to making money, something with candy (something new to make perhaps), a pen (write by hand? - dare I hope?), and something with astronomy and a telescope - could I hope for an update on telescopes so you can watch as a group activity? 

I also wonder if the reason we got a business chic kit is that there will be more active work places and careers with this pack - bank perhaps? 

Could be, it certainly reads like Open for Business. 😀 I see candy, pottery, tattoo, sewing and maybe car repairs and updated aliens among those flyers.
