I'm doing basically the same thing as Gagea. I've been playing different households with teens as they go through the process. I'll then figure out who gets paired together as their acceptances come in. I'll send them together at the same time based on scheduling compatibility. For example, I have a sim who is admitted to the distinguished fine arts program at UBrite. If Salim Benali's artsy son does the same, then I'll just send them together as dorm mates. There's a girl who is in love with one of my sims and would like to follow him, but will she also be admitted to Ubrite or will she be better off at Foxbury? I'll find out soon.
I have another sim who was admitted to ... basically every program at UBrite and Foxbury. (He has great attentive parents). I really think he'll be happier in a distinguished math/science program at Foxbury so I've decided that's where he's going. He won't be paired up with the artsy sims. If I wanted, I could have them all live off campus and go at the same time, but that's up to me. The girl who is currently in love with the artist might find herself going to Foxbury with him.
I kind of like the variety of acceptances in this process. I've said it elsewhere but I'd be even happier with a desert campus for sims who otherwise live their whole lives in the deserts.
The very average girl got rejected from any scholarships which was interesting as well. The artist got a full free ride as long as he is also on the soccer team, so he'll probably go slowly. Different sims end up in different financial situations. I am also thinking about how I want to combine funds for any uni households in terms of when I send them. It can get a little complicated but you can do what they want. I hope they patch in easier rotational play between semesters though. I'd like to be able to switch households at the end of each semester without withdrawing.
