My dude, getting save files and input on when you experience a bug is not "relying on fans". It's the only way to get information in this context. They do not have thousands upon thousands of employees putting 250 hours a month into playing the game, but the game sure has 50,000 people playing it at once at any given time who can give insight.
It's really reductive to boil asking for extra insight and save files and examples down to "relying on fans to fix the game". Completely disingenuous and wholly unfair perspective.
You have misunderstood me. I was not talking about player reports and I made that pretty clear.
