New Main Menu from 4/26 Patch

I haven't updated yet. I am going to do that later tonight. I'm a little worried now hahaha ... a soul destroying new menu huh? :joy: l guess I'll see later for myself LOL. Redesigns never bother me as long as I can still find everything, which doesn’t seem to be an issue here. I get used to it quickly.

It's just a bit of fun ?? l. Really like the new resume button though! I don't have any update plans until I have time to check mods and everything but it's been fun following this whole thing ? I love the random strangeness of it all.

Loading directly to your household when clicking resume is not something that I like because I liked to click resume and then look at my different households in the household manager, but I can just click on load game instead now, so whatever.

I don't get what's funny with the phone girl. And having her picture all over the main page is just annoying?

Much better than the previous one. I like it a lot actually.

I actually like that the loading screen is not white anymore. I used to had to close my eyes everytime the loading screen would pop up cause it hurts my eyes. I get very sensitive to light so I can get headaches to stuff like that. I even have to use the bathroom in the dark in the middle of the night when my eyes get super sensitive.

I love the new layout and colouring of the screen, but the repetiveness of the cellphone girl is a bit much ;)

What's up with the mobile phone gal only being on the new main menu? Where's the other sims? Is she supposed to be the most popular? Just curious.

No idea, but hopefully it's The Sims' way of letting her say goodbye before confining her to the world of gallery downloads only. I really do hope that. I'd be happy never to see those googly eyes and scarflike-thing-masquerading-as-hair ever again.

To me it looks like she's excited and has some good news to share. They could use those panels to give some interesting information, as it is I rarely bother looking at them let alone read them. Hope we hear some exiting news from EA soon.
