New Official Sims 4 Expansion Pack Survey

I tried to take the survey but it broke and when I tried to restart the page it claimed that I already completed it. Nice to know that even their surveys are broken...

I liked most of them too.

3. Gritty City - Would love a Superhero/villain theme for this one
4. Post-Apocalyptic Survivor
5. Modern Monarchy
6. Cyberpunk
7. 80/90s Retro World
8. Adventurous Exploration (I agree that this one could easily fit into the Ocean World)
9. Van Life

The first six choices I put down as very interested and the last three are in the somewhat interested category.

I wish they let us picked 3 instead of 2 .I think the retro world is probably more likely to be made.Simmers wanted a more retro style for a long time.

The ones think are unlikely are archeologist dig.I think it's just too niche.Either way I hope they least pick four of these,but the reast rethink some features to be in game packs.

The survey module hasn’t been tested on mobile, and the ‘next’ button is fixed at the bottom of the viewport without any padding on the page. This causes some answers to be hidden behind the button, making them impossible to select. I had to switch to a computer to complete it.

The criminal EP sounds interesting and was my top pick. I also voted for the 80s/90s EP because it seems like the perfect throwback to what American kids might’ve done after school 20 years ago. Since I grew up in France, I’d love to experience that, lol. The kids camp pack sounds fun, but somehow I don’t see it being as fully developed compared to the descriptions of the other packs.

The houseboat/submarine exploration EP feels exactly like what Island Living should’ve been (and it could’ve included hotels too).

As for the monarchy theme, I honestly don’t see how it fits with the rest of the game. It would probably need to be a standalone game, like Sims Medieval.

I was able to do the survey and I picked the royalty one and the one with an expansion on water activities including the house boats. Im not terrible interested in either. However, I know a lot of Simmers are AND I think both of these types of titles could be great fixes or improvements for packs we already have. 

In the sections that allowed to write our opinions and suggestions I made sure to ask for as additions to what they already said was coming in the pack if it was made. 

Water Expansion 

• Deep Dive Zones, Scuba & Underwater Archaeology
• Cross Pack Functionality that would benefit Island Living and Outdoor Retreat for the Lake 
  • Hula & Limbo for Island Living 
  • Canoes for the Lake in Outdoor Retreat 
• Updates to Mermaids
• Metal Detection
• Hammocks
• Activities that would enhance experience in this pack and Island Living 
  • Deep Sea Fishing 
  • Surfing 
  • Cliff Diving 
  • Diving for Pearls 
  • Oyster Shucking 
• Fishmongers, Marina & Surf Shop Community Lots and not just Kiosks  

Royalty 

• Grand Fireplace 
• Grand Staircase
• Spiral Staircase
• Working Portcullis and Drawbridge
• Being able to choose our Coat of Arms from amongst a few choices 
• Banner & Flags with said Coat of Arms 
• Orangery/Conservatory build pieces for more grandiose Green Houses, Sunrooms or Roof for an indoor Pool 
• Gold Leafed Domes 
• Pieces for a Library including on of those Library Ladders 
• Limousine with official flags 
• Extra Long Dining Room Table for State Dinners and a new table setting appropriate for this wet you set the table 
• Tall Walls & Security Gates 
• Tall flag poles with uplighting appropriate to keeping flags lit at night
• Topiary Sculpting 
• Updates to the Butler so we have a few more added duties and a Butlers Bow. Butler comes with this pack too
• Update to the Grandfather clock which would give it chime choices and the necessity to wind it 
• Bell Tower Build pieces and they toll too 
• Luxury Pet Gear like Diamond Collars and more luxurious beds 
• Update to Crystal Creations so that we might create Royal Jewel Collections 
  • Tiaras & Diadems

Van life!? Yes, please!!

Oh, ranks sound fun. I'd go with

2. Gritty City (If it's a superhero pack - 8 place if it isn't)
3. Exploration

5. Post-Apocalyptic
6. Monarchy (The MODERN aspect kills a lot of the hype)
7. Retro Mall
8. Van Life (I want cars, but van life is lame)
9. Camp (It should be a game pack at most)

1-4 are things I'd actively be hyped about. 

Or - cars will never be a thing, but they thought of giving us customizable vans instead, to please the car hungry simmers. I actually like the idea. Cars just for driving and parking makes no sense in a game with no lengthy roads. Living in the car is a more interesting take on it methinks.
