I've always seen Morgyn as intersex (because of his settings in cas) but viewing himself as a man and therefore using he/him. Though still embracing the feminine side by wearing a dress for formal.

It might be because of a book I read where there was an intersex witch, viewing herself as a woman, and her condition gave her specific powers because of being inbetween female and male aswell as being the middle sibling.

I somehow thought it was part of some sort of mythology.
