New phone calls

Did they tone down phone calls from previous packs just to make room for new ones?

I am loving the new phone calls. The prank ones are slightly annoying but in a funny way. They absolutely have that Sims 1 vibe to them. (I especially love the one that is a reference to an old Simpsons episode.)

Currently, I'm playing a group of Sims in University. One got a phone call from his mother with a message that said "Hi, I was wondering if you wanted to drop by and see your mother. After all, I did put all that time and effort into raising you.", with options to either go to her house or invite her to his. Now, my Sims would get texts and calls from their family all the time. But this is the first time that one has acknowledged a family relationship like that.

My university sim got a phone call from a sim about competing in the motive trials sounds like the hunger games lmaoooo but they met at secret location, went to loading screen and sent me back home, I don’t know if that’s new...or...

I really like this.

This would be really cool if that persons traits affected what message they say in the phone call

I have two sims in Evergreen Harbor that I play on rotation and last night the sim I was playing got a call from my other sim.
Something about her having a crush on my sim and wanting to be more than friends.
(And that doesn’t fit in with the story lol)

There was three options, can’t remember them all but I chose the option that was something like “umm I think we should just stay friends”
To which my other sim replied “let’s just pretend this call never happened”

Fine lol I’ll just pretend she had too many fizzy drinks and made a fizzy call

I haven't had one of these new phone calls yet. I guess social distancing be like that sometimes :neutral:

Anybody know how change the "Scamming" Phone Caller (who ask for money) from Bess Sterling to another Sim?

I have removed the Entrepreneur trait from Bess Sterling to Malcolm Landgraab.
The "Invest in Legal Scheme" thing in the social bubble has been successfully removed from her to him.

But the phone caller is still Bess Sterling.

Is it because the game always generating Bess Sterling to be the phone caller?
What should I do?
