New Roadmap Fall 2024!

If you look at EAs version of "The World" card it shows elements of a location. There is a pagoda and what looks like tropical trees and maybe volcanos. I wonder if this is a hint for the world coming with the pack. Maybe Bali? 

JesLet40  I just read the latest episode. Poor Ida! You did a great job with what we have, but it would be nice if the ceremony could include something other than a eulogy.

It would! I would have loved to be able to set a dress code, or decide on which colors the mourners should wear and have everyone actually show up sad. And yes, I so felt for Ida, the game really put her through hell. I couldn't believe it when both her husband and son died within sim days from each other! It was not the episode I had intended to write this week. But then I do love it when the game really throws us off course.

And with the fourth card, my eyes discovered Sulani, Mt. Komorebi, Forgotten Hollow, and StrangerVille. I hope I'm crossing my fingers for world editor or a world overhaul whatever.

If I were dead...well, this is one way to resurrect me. Just announce a Grim Reaper pack. What has my life become?! 💀

I'm trying to remain as cool as a corpse, but I cannot help getting seriously excited about this official announcement, and we've got dates. DATES! This is exactly what my grouchy busy buttocks is in need of right now: a wee sprinkle of hope and clarity. 

I shall spare you the list of stuff I'd like to see in this upcoming EP - some of us die-hards filled threads with all things Death on the old forum (RIP)- I'm telling ya, it's all of the occult. ALL OF IT! 🖤

• Life and Death EP: they must have waited years for Halloween to fall on a Thursday, just to launch this pack. Perfect! In my culture we celebrate this as Samhain, which is the New Year, so let's hope it is a very good start of the New Year for me! No bugs please, just plenty of wholesome soul searching and ofcourse, reaping and bonfires.
• Storybook Nursery Kit: Sweet. You see, when storybooks are born, this is where you keep them for a while: in their little storybook nursery where they are nurtured until they are substantial and powerful enough to take on the whole wild world of literature. Instant buy.
• Artist Studio Kit: I wonder. Is this 
  • A. A studio for Ai "artists" that includes a gusto coffeemaker and a ginormous Prompt-O-Matic image generator machine adept at art theft, or
  • B. Are we talking a "finger paint all over the walls" kinda artist studio or
  • C. A Music Artist Studio?!
    
    I hope for B but I gotta be honest, I want C even more. Want for bands 'n all that. 
• Updates: That tarot card has me mighty curious. A depiction of four existing worlds: Sulani, Forgotten Hollow, Mounty Snowy Escape and Strangerville. What does it mean? WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN DINGALEE-DANG-A-DOO-IT?!!!

Oh no!!! I like the sound of every single thing mentioned, but can the game cope with any more?

How refreshing to get specific details instead of just frustrating, teasing clues.

meeshwoodThat card is associated with the free update, not the new EP. I'm almost afraid to get my hopes up but . . .  could we be getting a world editor and/or world builder?

SimmingalThe fact that they show in-game worlds in the background has me thinking that we're meant to take the "World" reference literally, as opposed to a mystical meaning for that card. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure the Well is meant to be interpreted mystically, particularly the association with inspiration and creativity. Just the card you want before a successful day in an Artist Studio.

This spounds all good! I did not expect another EP this soon, and best of all - none of the content of this map include a really long wait. September is here, October is just around the corner :) 

There are probably way more art studios than nurseries in my game, but I'm looking forward to more details on them both. Life & Death might be quite a lot beyond the occult aspects, so I'm really excited to learn more. I'm glad we have a few weeks to gain information and build our excitement :)

Possible this could come in the new Storybook Nursery Kit. Or the base game patch.
