New Save, New Sim, No High School Diploma

I made a new save to start trying out my new features in game. And my young adult sim has no high school diploma but you can see on the random npc in game. Is there any way to give it to my sim? Like shouldn't that be added automatically? At the very least at average. Do I need to search for a physical one in debug or something?
