New SimGuruNinja Interview (new Game Pack, Sims 5, Disabilities, Spark'd)

Hey guys,

So I just found this new video posted yesterday on this channel I've never heard of. It touches on some interesting things so you might want to check it out:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Puc3Fcovkz4

He basically said almost nothing on the Sims 5 but he said some interesting things about bunk beds and disabilities in the game. He mostly talked about Spark'd which is a bummer but I recommend you watch the interview. It's fun.

The thing I got from that interview is that now they have no longer an excuse to say bunkbeds are hard to make since the modding community already released some.

That was my take as well. No reason for them to hold back from a technical standpoint if mods can do it. Nevertheless, they still ahve the excuse of waiting for the appropriate time and pack.

:( he didn't say much TS5 this worries me :( I am so ready for it.

I’m only ready for it if they learned their mistakes on sims 4 & there’s more juicy content in the base game itself. We shouldn’t have to wait years for core features that should already be in the game such as improved skin tones, toddler life stage & pools (let’s not forget we didn’t even have those for a few years) .

Simguruninja sounds like a very nice guy. I wonder how much of "they don't let me know anything" is true though, lol.

As for the future of the sims4, not really what I wanted to hear, if Tiny Living and Eco Lifestyle are examples of them trying out new and exciting things for the sims4, then I am not really interested... I would rather they work on improving the core features of the game. At least we are getting more skin tones.

He is nice. I met him during Zylria's stream that he would visit. He makes a lot of ninja appearances on Twitch. I think their "new concepts" are still playing it safe.

I still want a superhero pack to represent disabilities. Interesting how he kind of was quiet when talking about disabilities which makes me think it is being worked on. But yeah pretty sure he knows about the speculations. He gets around quite a bit. He has been talking about some superhero shows he has been watching and was curious what books I have been reading that are more survival and engineering.

Sims 4 does have my favorite version of vampires and I like the pack a lot. I do agree that each iteration have their own strengths and how he commented about the modding community.

He won't say anything about TS5 until they officially announce that TS5 is on its way. SimGurus are officially not allowed to offer commentary on anything not announced (and even then, they're somewhat limited until it releases.) Their ability to keep quiet is a condition of being a SimGuru.

    Well that stinks....
It didn't used to be like this.

    It's always been like this.

That's part of game development...they are not going to say anything about what they are working on until they feel that they are ready.

Reminds me of an article I read about Far Cry 6, they said that they had been working on that game for four and a half year already. Which means that they already worked on Far Cry 6 before Far Cry 5 was even released (2018) and they did not say a word about it.

Same with the Sims 3. After it came out they said they were already in pre production with the Sims 2 came out.
I do this this might have changed in this era but I still believe they started pre development about a year or two after the Sims 4 came out.

I didn't get much information, but then again, I was drooling over SGNinja's mancave.
I mean, a Storm Trooper in Ewok slippers...

Lolololol... that was exactly what I thought just a few seconds in... just after being happy he finally got rid of that horrible dead animal he cultivated under his nose :D. He looks so much better now.

  • @CAPTAIN_NXR7 What about the new game pack leak? If not intentional I bet someone got fired. What do you think? Even after they fixed it it was still in the background on other shots. Someone pointed that out on Twitter and said that was proof it was intentional. Anyway do you think someone got fired over the leak?

He does. Makes him look younger. But yes that is why I like attending his casual gamer streams because his stream room is amazing.
