@ EuphorialQueen Even when you turn off the weather, you are still subject to almost every plant having a definite seasonality. It's not something I'd recommend for unseasoned newbies until they get a feel for how they like the game and having the ability to have some of their ingredients available year round without relying on seed packets. I'm not totally against the pack- I just think it is better for more intermediate players. Also, I like playing with the temperature effects- how else can I kill a certain sim without having another sim do it? :tongue:
Oh yea, for absolute newbies that just want a free home- "freerealestate on" is the best cheat ever. You don't even need testing cheats to be on to use it, If you really want to keep the cheating to a minimum while cheating.
