I don't really understand anyone who is feeling uncomfortable using cultural items with different cultures. It's a game, and when you're playing it, it's your game. Anyone offended by the simple usage of a clothing item in your game has serious issues.
I'm a cowboy, I was riding horses before I could walk (true story...my dad used me on their backs when he was training them). I promise I won't be offended if you use the cowboy hat that is in the game for a sim that doesn't live on a ranch.
It’s just a personal thing for me.
Think of it in a positive way, like discovering a new culture instead of giving it a negative connotation.
Thank you, but I’m still comfortable. Besides, I am not interested in the outfits or playing that particular culture, and I refuse to treat the clothing like a costume. If I wanted to play with the outfits, I would want to do research and treat it with respect.
But, like I said, that’s my personal thing. I wouldn’t really care what other people do with their own games.
It's clothes, you put them on. What better sign of respect and appreciation for the gift than to wear them? ?
