Just a reminder, that's $50 dollars total for two packs of the same theme which still have less content than the predecessor entry, whereas The Sims 3 gave you horses, cats, dogs, small pets, a new open world to explore while riding your horse around as in other worlds, tons of new skills to control your pets with, and more.
The Sims 3's version was released in 2011, costs $10 dollars less, and has more content. This franchise is becoming far more of a joke and greedy money grab than ever before.
I don't see many people mentioning inflation...
Most things cost more than they did ten years ago. Food, real estate, entertainment, movies. At least they cost me more.
I am not defending EA here. But asking an honest question. Why should we be surprised that they are charging more for the same content, regardless of how it's pieced out?
My response to that would be then why was The Sims 3's Pet expansion the same price as The Sims 2's, yet included way more in it?
Potentially the reuse of various assets from TS2 Pets for PC and console allowed for the addition of horses. I've always speculated this.
However, I agree that this new concept is a bit

I will take a look at the trailer tomorrow and see what it is. A dancing hamster doesn't tell you much.
In the meantime we can speculate hamster parties.
