I had my first burglar arrive when playing today! The alarm went off, but the police didn't come (or at least I didn't see any). Luckily my sim beat up the burglar and he ran off 😆
Wondering if this is a bug?
There is an upgrade to the burglar alarm for it to call the police automatically. The only point of the alarm initially is just to wake up all your sims. You can call the police from your phone or by clicking on the burglar, or you could upgrade the alarm with the right upgrade. Hope this solves your problem.
Thanks for letting me know! I assumed it would be the same as the old games. The alarm was pretty useless in this case as my sims were already awake. Need to get them working on upgrades before next time.
