- Love what I'm reading so far. I dying to hear from some of those who went ahead and got MWS. Is it working after this?
- AgnesXX92New SpectatorAs long as it can be 100% turned off, I don't care. I don't like random changes happening in my game without my input, so neighbourhood stories aren't for me. Perhaps I'll give them a try the next time I start a new save I am not attatched to and wouldn't mind messing up, but as my current save is three years old and well-established, the last thing I need is random sims moving into houses not meant for them and overflooding the world with unwanted and unneeded kids and pets.

Me when I saw this part of SimGuruNick's explanation of the new features:Global enable/disable setting. If life changes happening all over the world are just not your thing, that’s okay! Neighborhood Stories can be entirely disabled under Game Options using the “Reset Custom Configurations” Button.*
Yaaaaay, this is awesome. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!
Me when I noticed the "fine print":*Neighbor Sim friends will still occasionally call asking for advice about life changes unless your Sim’s phone is on silent.
Aw, man. I feel like I've been trolled. :disappointed: - telemwillSeasoned Ace

I saw a YouTube video by Neecxle on the story progression. It seemed to work well except there was no urn left in the household when a Sim died an accidental death. He was just gone from the relationship panel, and his wife had no emotion related to the death. That's a little disappointing. I was considering using this option to thin out my rotation households, but I don't won't to use it if the Sim is just deleted.
Yeah I saw their tweet and someone said it might be a bug because similar thing happened to them before the update but it only happened once.
I hope that is what happened. I want my Sims to mourn the deaths of their family and friends. - Well so far in my last run I checked the reports and so far:
- Eliza pancakes got a job at fast food joint.
- 4 other households moved in.
This was happening on the PS4 version. - Reddestiny921Seasoned VeteranMine started off light as far as I know unless you should be checking more often I saw someone got a cat and someone left their career, I imagine once we have more stable weddings they'll probably add weddings too. However seems pretty nice I'm just letting it go wild in my more active save to see how it goes.
- I must say, I am quite impressed with the Sims team with this update. It seems like they've made Neighborhood Stories much more interesting and very customizable. It's not entirely reliant on phone calls now. You can turn it on and off, and you can even customize it by household. That's great :)
Hopefully it's not buggy.
I'm only worried about how this will work with MC Command Center. I've used that mod to add a lot to spice to my game, and I'm worried that they won't work together nicely.
Let's hope that 2022 gets better, and this is a sign of good things to come! - @bixters, I left McCC setup to have folks move and have babies, and turned those features off in the new Neighborhood stories feature. So far, MCCC is still working for what I left it to do and the neighborhood stories is working for what I told it to do, so they seem to work okay together.
- rjssimRising ScoutI'm gonna keep my post short and simple. Awesome update!
- This update looks amazing! I love how you can customize it. And I love that they can now adopt babies, toddlers and pets!
The new scenarios look fun too.
