This was my first year playing any version of the sims (first got it at the end of February). It has become such a huge part of my life that those around me can't believe it hasn't been a year yet.
I was introduced to the Sims on Youtube and was exposed to the world of CC and mods before I even bought the game. Once I got the game, I jumped into CC and mod shopping and didn't look back. After the most recent patch, I decided to play with just Maxis content. I was so blown away with all of the small details and content that I had skimmed over that I made it a mission to play with things I haven't before. Aliens, the comedy career, the wellness skill, living in sulani (I had the pack but never had any sim live there), and playing with generations, etc.. I slowly added in simple mods and complementary CC and have had so much honest fun and enlightening simming over the last few weeks. The family that I have been playing this whole time is my first to move past Gen 2 and I am excited to see their growth.
