New Year, Newcrest.

I started world rebuilding this year but I just realized I haven't finished even one (1) world in a year

oh this is gonna take a while *deep sigh*

this is probably because i keep jumping between worlds and adding one or 2 houses per world instead of filling one
and partly because i obsess over specific lots and keep redoing them

but I think next year I should conquer the evil Newcrest first and then move to other builds

however I have no idea what I want to build there for the world is truly uninspiring :/

so if anyone has any ideas or has actually builded theirs I'm all ears

and yes I welcome everyone to share their newcrest lots and world screenshots!

and to join me on building newcrest full in 2021 if they have yet to do it (or want to redo it for that matter)

The beauty of the Sims is that your city can work any way you want it to. :)

well perhaps  but it will give more city vibes if it resembles real one because human brain is simple one
  • My Newcrest is all over the place with design. I currently have one house and the park to replace to make it completely mine. I had it loaded with other peoples' builds (because I absolutely suck at building) I always put the Fitbox gym, my restaurant, The Red Fin, and the Newcrest Park in Newcrest in all my saves. For some reason, last night I decided to redesign the Fitbox :D :|
It came out ok but my goal is to have Newcrest be my creations solely so today I will be reworking the Park to so it can be as boring as the rest of the neighborhood. :D

For some reason Newcrest has always given me a New Orleans suburb vibe (not sure if that's legit though)

Bro after quick google, that is absolutely legit :flushed: and helped me tons

now i have at least faint hints of what could be built there without making it too boring (and i realized im lucky to not live in New Orleans because turns out I probably wouldn't vibe there either  )

Thank you so much for confirming this! I'm glad this was helpful and now that I know it is definitely based on New Orleans. I will be researching that style to create builds that fit better into Newcrest. Excited!
