Newcrest - where to build?

@Oldeseadogge I found the perfect place for it. It's relatively central, plus fits well and looks good on that lot.

Took me 5 or 6 hours, but I've finally made a good core start for Newcrest that I'm satisfied with. Now to move some households in...

Those are some nice looking versions of Newcrest. I'll have to see if I can screenshot mine when I get a chance. My Newcrest only has two residential lots. Most of what is there are downloads from the Maxis packs or some community builds mostly from the gallery. Anyway, my Newcrest is full but it's where I put community lots as a separate hang out area within my main save.

If I were to really play with Newcrest residentially, it would be a new save. It's great having a place for various lots such as spas, a movie theatre (that I customized in building it), a different style of library, a cafe, several parks, a small graveyard, some restaurants, lounges and a nightclub that I admittedly don't use that much.

As I mentioned, it is full and lot space is a bit tight for me lately. I wouldn't mind another empty world like Newcrest even if it is more of a small-to-medium-sized world.

Nice works there! Too bad I don't have the packs you used to build them. Otherwise I end up with a gutted frame of a house with gaps in it like Ladybird Landing.
Speaking of which, I spent alot of time rebuilding it. I'll take some screenshots. Not the quite same as Oldeseadogge's original, but still pretty cool! I added some of my own creative touches.

I'm working on a base game only at the moment. It should be up 2nd Jan.

- The Toddler starter is base game only. To my memory just 2 rugs are laundry day and there's another item from another pack (cant remember), but that should be fine if you place it.

- I'm uploading a couple this week and next week, (starter homes).

Most welcome. It gives you a base to go with what works for you with what you have. A lot of packs I got were for the CAS and build/buy rather than anything else so have a lot to work with, especially as I like the older days more than modern. You're making good progress with your building and your circled location for the Landing is right where I put mine, central location.

Twins of Bella Goth and Don Lothario, Adrienne & Ashleigh Goth have moved into a nice new modular home, with Ashleigh's high-school boyfriend, Jett. Mortimer was reluctantly acceptant of Bella's out of marriage affair originally, but gave the twins money to live on their own.

The three had a little fun after turning on the thermostat in their new home. Jett and Ashleigh were surprisingly quick to do more "celebrating" after Adrienne left for her part-time job. :D

That’s coming along nicely. I like the story behind them. I’ve almost finished the starter home. It contains only one pack seasons ( windows and doors ) however I checked what they looked like with base games ones, and it looked just as good.
