A while back I had taken on a project involving Newcrest, but when I went to look up it, but the pictures were no longer showing. In the Spoiler, I will post a few of those pictures of what I had done. I had broken Newcrest down into international districts - Japanese, African, and French districts. In the Japanese district, I had a karaoke bar, restaurant, and residential homes. In the African district, I had a swimming pool, restaurant, and homes. No photos to share, but a while back I made a combo restaurant/gym/bar/hotel/library called "Ladybird Landing". It should be findable under that name. I also do the 3 districts thing, lower left corner parks and other community lots, upper left private housing, right side row a mix of housing and smaller community lots of the neighborhood shop idea. Mostly just go gallery raiding, though those empty lots are great for experiments.

The line along the right are residentials but more for family type households. (I don't use this area much at all and just tend to stick households there as townies)The lower left area is my " commercial district" and it has the gym moved from Windenburg ( I think) , a cafe, a grunge lounge, and a toddler park I built when toddler stuff came out. lol, I've never visited it since I don't play with families much at all and still haven't played toddlers to any degree. I've played a day or two in a house of them and then I go on to my other sims. I sometimes wonder if that's why the teen turned young adult in Uni had so many issues. She had an abandoned trait and always missing attention. Maybe mom didn't look after her too well when I didn't play them.

I'm currently recreating Sims 1 neighborhood in Newcrest. <3

I have a mod that allows my now Global Superstar to be a singer Sim. I changed NewCrest into an area that caters to that. There are four different concert venues; two outdoor types and two indoor stages. There are also four eateries ranging from formal to informal. There's a gym, a spa, a special wedding venue, a karaoke bar, plus a lounge.

I have another save wherein I used NewCrest to be the Settlement that ultimately became East Tennessee when I played my Ancestral game save. Log cabin types.

@GalacticGal Sound interesting and creative! Right now I'm trying to open up a vacant 'world'. I noticed they messed up on the drawn map. Newcrest is actually a dense city area, not so open with grass and trees as it looks like on the drawn map.

I've been trying to rebuild all the worlds myself but I honestly can't think of anything I want to build in newcrest

something about it just irritates me and makes me very uninspired p_p

like i have put down many different style houses but it just always looks off to me like " oh i should have put this in about any other world in the game"

maybe someone here would inspire me too p_p

I've started to fill in a Newcrest as well in a new save file.

Im making the downtown district for commercial purpose.
The bottom right will be cheaper homes.
The bottom left will be more upmarket homes with a park/and possibly a club house.
I'm thinking of making some returning households with new stories; possibly something with Brokes or Langerak (from TS2).

- Once I've become a member I'll attach a screenshot of my progress; Struggling to get 50 points!

That building on the far right top of the 3 was actually a library. I changed it to residential because I like the design of the person who designed it. Will take some work to convert, but I enjoy that.
