IF this tweet is a hint, it says something like: (name of world) is awesome! So this isn't or is a new world hint on Twitter.
Edit: It could also say: Trailmix is awesome! So this isn't or is a new world hint on Twitter. "SimmerGeorge;c-17864696" wrote:

I don't want to ignite a fire here, but I'd like to point out that the Sim gurus have essentially confirmed that Generations is coming at some point. They said so in the last live stream. So why not allow other types of gameplayer their portion of fun without umbrage? If it is indeed supernatural gameplay this time, which we can't currently confirm. It is the polite and civil thing to do.
Because we family players haven't had dedicated content since 2017 and Parenthood, so there's that, while you had Realm of Magic & Paranormal, not counting Batu as I know many occult players dislike it and don't see it as an occult pack (it's not, it's a Disney World Batu advertisment pack).
@Dakota88 Seasons had a lot of family gameplay, and several packs since then can be integrated to create more "family" oriented gameplay. Even Snowy Escape had some family stuff you can do. Like with the new Rental lots and the new places to visit you can get your family on vacation. A pack doesn't have to be family oriented to have family gameplay.
I don't want to sound rude or anything but I feel like, if you want to play more family oriented you can try to use features from packs to create more gameplay. If you want to play an occult there is literally nothing you can do except for relying on mods. Also I don't get why in the Sims 4 we suddenly need "family dedicated" packs, when in the past we could just use all the features we got with all the different packs to create new family gameplay scenarios.
Also a lot of family content should have been included in the base game like in all previous games, so if you're a family player who feels like the game doesn't have enough gameplay, then complain to EA about the base game, because family gameplay should be base game content.
I would love more packs focused exclusively on families but poor occult players have nothing else to rely on for supernatural gameplay other than mods.
Thank you, exactly this. There's so much more in this game for families to do than occults. More worlds that are normal and "family friendly." What can you even do as a vampire that's different from anything else in the game besides the interactions with themselves and other sims? Grow a plasma tree in Forgotten Hollow? Oh Forgotten Hollow, the world with 5 lots total for us occult players. Spellcasters have the very limited magic realm they can visit sure, that's different, one lot total. Glimmerbrook isn't anything different, a normal family could live there. Again what, 5 lots total? What about aliens? Oh cool, Sixam, a world for aliens that has one small lot that you can't even live on.
Seasons you can celebrate holiday's with the families and do different activities with the families, Snowy Escape you can go on vacation and do different mountain activities with families, Cats & Dogs added pets and interactions with most the life stages (after all pets are part of the family), then you have packs like Parenthood, Kids Room Stuff, Toddler Stuff, Backyard Stuff (that adds more activities for families). Jungle Adventure and Outdoor Retreat you can vacation to with the family and do different family activities together there. Bowling Night, Movie Hangout, Cool Kitchen, and Spooky Stuff adds even more stuff you can do with families. Like, if you don't want to do that stuff with your sims because you find it boring or don't want to buy the pack, fine, but it's there still and that's the point.
And yeah, occults can utilize a lot of this stuff too, but the point is you're a vampire...or a spellcaster, or a mermaid, like "oh cool come on mermaid and vampire friend let's go ski down some slopes, cowabunga!" There's not much at all for occults to actually do. Especially when comparing it to the amount of stuff you can do with a sim family.- crocobauraSeasoned Ace

I saw that and i still think it's a hint. Maybe it's a pack inspired by Inspecter Clouseau. Mystery, hints, heists, and France. There were rumors about a French pack before, maybe this is it.
As @Netzspannung mentioned, the tweet references this painting called "The Treachery of Images".

This also reminds me of Sherlock's pipe, perhaps a mystery pack set in a French inspired world is afoot!
Inspector Clouseau also smokes a pipe. "Dakota88;c-17864768" wrote:

I'm honestly curious what your family does IRL that you can't do in the Sims? Don't get me wrong, I know there's a lot, but for my family we:
(can do in Sims 4)
go to the park
go to city festivals
go to geek conventions
went to our daughter's plays at school
play video games together
eat dinner together (okay, this is hit or miss both IRL and in the Sims)
watch movies/TV together
sit and talk together.
When she was younger, we'd help her build Legos and play with toys with her.
Play with water balloons
build snowmen
Go ice skating (okay, that's my family when I was a kid, but still something that can be done in the sims)
(Can't do in sims 4)
Enroll in Martial Arts or other extracurriculars besides scouts and drama
take part in multiple extracurriculars.
Go to the zoo together
Go to an amusement park together (ignoring Journey to Batuu for this)
Go to the Renaissance Faire in summer (believe me, this is a separate category)
volunteer to help with kid's after-school programs (which I did a lot with her Drama programs.)
Go see a play or musical outside of Drama club
Play tag/have a water gun fight.
Now, my family at this point is 2 adults and one young adult, and our daughter is - by design - an Only Child. We're also a family of Geeks and Theater people. So what we do as a family probably isn't what most would consider a base-line for "normal" but I can do many of the things my family does/has done in real life in the Sims, and most of the things that fall under "can't" aren't exclusive to family play.
Or are you conflating "Family Play" with "more stuff for Kids"? Because while I can see how and why that is a valid interpretation of "Family play" it's hardly the only one, and may well be at the heart of why some people say that every pack can be used for family play. I want more stuff for kids/teens too. Especially more extracurriculars. But I don't count that as "family" activities. That's Kid's/teens stuff.
Bringing this back to On Topic, however, I still think we're getting a pack with some sort of expansion on School/teen activities, and it may well be announced next week. Certainly, come Early May, we should hear something (unless it's the fall/winter pack, which is also possible.)
But I think in the exchange that sparked all the speculation, the Guru's were just trolling for fun.
Again: we are missing basic group interactions, especially for the younger age groups and for different age groups doing things together. We're missing good playground items too, there is no slide for children. Children can't play in the pool, they're swimming next to each other (which children do that?!). My family can't even make music together.
So, yes, you're generally conflating "More things for kids to do" with "Family Play." Because nearly everything I listed under "can do in the Sims 4" is stuff I've done with my sims families. Heck, I even took the toddler to the last GeekCon. Had her in a costume and everything.
Which is fine, but it is also why people are talking past each other on "all packs can be used for family play" And depending on what your family is doing, the "add to group" and "Do x together" is a great way for Sims of different ages to do stuff together. It's just not a simple interaction on the pie menu.
As for playing music together, imo, a family playing music together would likely fall under a Bands expansion, which, again, is not exclusive to family play. and something I'd very much like.
basic group activities is nothing that's restricted to toddlers and children. You just want to attack everyone who doesn't like your occult stuff.
@DaWaterRat is being very nice @Dakota88 she even said she thinks it will be a teen pack
as for people saying they want different things please remember we don't have any control over whats coming anymore then you do
and we all really don't have control over what pack is coming next because its all done"PlayerSinger2010;c-17864874" wrote:

I highly doubt a GP is coming. SimGuruGeorge is on the EP team (the last two packs he worked on were Eco Lifestyle and Snowy Escape). Heโs most likely hinting at a new EP thatโs being announced soon.
He might be on the EP team but when there's a new pack coming, EP or GP, all gurus usually hint or talk about it regardless. They know what everyone is doing/working on. Plus, SimGuruFrost was the one who first hinted at it with he's .
Not really true. SimGuruGeorge for example didnโt tweet anything about Nifty Knitting, Paranormal, or the kits. He retweeted Journey to Batuuโs trailer and thatโs it. Meanwhile he talked a lot about Snowy Escape and especially Eco Lifestyle (he was the lead producer on Eco Lifestyle). SimGuruRomeo for example didnโt tweet anything about Eco Lifestyle or Snowy Escape, but talked a lot about Journey to Batuu (he was the lead producer on Journey to Batuu).
Also, SimGuruGeorgeโs original tweet may be a hint that weโre getting news on Monday morning (possibly a teaser as they like releasing teasers on Monday morning). SimGuruFrost only replied to it.
I still doubt it's an EP though but we'll see. I can't see a whole EP dedicated to a sole occult...with a world only one occult can enter. "Monet11;c-17864936" wrote:

I think it would be quite fun to have a pack with a romantic theme, lots of new jewelry, and some nefarious cat burglary going on. Don't really expect it, but would still be fun.
it would be fun burglar could be added to it is a very wanted npc and if romance was added slow dance could be in it I would love that @Monet11- DaWaterRatNew VanguardIn the spirit of speculating...

The main reason why I think their tweets are related to an upcoming pack is because SimGuruGeorge uses the word "new". There is always a pack in the works, obviously, but if you're just kidding around why add that? Just to whip the community into a speculation frenzy? That would be weird.
