The next EP hast probably been in development for 3-4 years if it is horses, depending on how much the pandemic slowed production down.
Horses and cows are quite different in programming so horses have definately not been replaced by cows.
The teeth loss face bug ist exactly the kind of bug they would easily overlook. The bug where teens loose their chin ist there since BG, the squinty eyes and wide jaw bug wasn't fixed until long after the release. The same toddler face bug also survived quite some time and the bug where the faces of Sims with alien blood are kind of melting (facial features like the nose and chin getting tinner and smaller with each generation, the whole face Kind of shrinking together) more and more with every generation has also been there since launch and never been fixed.
