Next Expansion Speculation?

I went back and checked the announcement dates and release dates for expansions in the Fall for the last 3 years and historically, they are released before the week of American Thanksgiving and are announced by the end of the 2nd or 3rd week in October. If we don't get an announcement this week or next, I'm going to start worrying a EP isn't coming this Quarter.

I've been saying this for weeks, but there's basically zero chance they will pass up the $$ from holiday expansion sales, and very nearly zero chance that the EP will release after Thanksgiving. I'd say we're looking at an EP release the week or two before Thanksgiving; the only question is what the theme will be and how early they announce it.

I also really thought we'd get an occult pack for Halloween as well, but it's looking like I may have been wrong about that, and that we just got the kits and the spa day refresh instead. That being said, they have been known to announce a pack as little as a week before it releases, or as long as six weeks (maybe even two months?). So it's not impossible that we could get an announcement tomorrow for a GP that will drop next week, and then an announcement in early November for an EP that will release in mid-November. However, I think it's more likely at this point that we will not get a GP this fall, and that the next (non-kit) announcement will be for a pre-Thanksgiving EP... in which case that could be announced anytime from tomorrow through the next month.

You can't mention dragons all the time. Sometimes you need to keep 'em guessing. Keep everyone on their toes.

I am very confident a bands pack is being announced this week or next. Like 93% confident. The Sims Twitter is all I need. They talked about Adele, there's K-Pop celebrities, and one guru was just like, what are you listening to? Plus the entire Sim Sessions this summer.

The previous season they announced 1 kit, 1 GP and 1 EP. A second kit was released.

It seems November is a kit and maybe December is an EP.

We still haven't even gotten an announcement for the next kit. I'm wondering when they will reveal it. If not this week will it be at the end of October? And then released the beginning of November?
