Next GP and Kit Guesses?

If it's a GP it's probably just the high school if it's that. My issue with the active type careers of TS4 is how extremely repetitive they can get with the awful event tab goals. If high-school is like an active career than yes, it probably will be the only thing in a GP. But if it's just an update to the school panel with new pop-up cards and after school activities, than their would be room for additional content. It could be like university where you get to choose which classes your teen is in but you don't actually follow them into the classroom.

This is what I'm expecting if it's a school pack. Maybe - and it's very much a maybe - we'll get a boarding-school-based neighborhood-sized world that's basically University for teens.

It's also possible that it will expand school for Children too, especially if it doesn't come with the boarding school world.

I agree. We haven't had a "normal" GP in a long time. I am not opposed to fairies, it's just that I want some normal everday gameplay first after getting JTB and Paranormal. Snowy Escape was very limited to the world the new activities are to be done in. For example we can't hike in all worlds and we can't snow or ski in other worlds, it's limited to Mt Komorebi. It would have been a great family gameplay expanding pack, if it wasn't limited to this world.

They would be stretching the limits of a GP, that's true. A large part of the budget would have to go to new animations.

I'm also curious how they'd tackle high school (a big theme) in a GP though, especially because there's a world coming with the pack.
We also had the Mall theme in a recent survey, maybe that could be something?

maybe mails would be cool its not just the animation it would be making a whole new kind of sim if they make horses I mean with witches and vampires all they had to do was give sims new powers and I would hope they would do a lot with horses @EliasVersace

My thoughts/Hopes:

Kits: Could be anything really, I'm hoping for some sort of Granny Chic revival from the community vote but I'm not expecting this...

Game Pack: Based on snowy escape hints we could be getting hotels but I really hope this is the Growing Pains pack which were asked in the surveys. Out of all the life stages (bar babies) teens need fleshing out. I rarely play teens and would love some teen specific gameplay.

I agree. I think the kit is going to be sectional sofas or anything for CAS really.

I do think this year some teen gameplay is definitely coming. Remember the survey in which we were asked about which life stages we would like to be more fleshed out and teens were missing? There surely was a reason to this and we had rumours of an active school gameplay much longer (high school life as a pack suggestion in one of the surveys). The school uniforms in Snowy Escape sure must have been some kind of hint.

Maybe a music pack? I hope they are going to save it for a EP though - it has a lot of potential...

That's a running theme in nearly all the recent worlds too:
-Magic Users only do magic in Magic Realm
-Sailing/Ocean swimming Activity in Sulani
-Eco effects like litter/greenery/modern development in Evergreen Harbor.

Really wish they could/would update worlds to allow all these things....

I agree, it's a problem TS4 has in general. I am sure there is a reason for it connected to the game engine.

I'm not fond of paranormal pack, but since the GP comes with a new world where only some sims can go to, it would be logical for it to be Fairies or Werewolves. High School or music bands would not justify a whole new world... I think.

But I'm really curious. Again I'm not that fond of paranormal since it's not my typical gameplay but I looove the towns that go with it. They have such unique vibes. So I would still be happy if it were something magical.

I'm not aware of any Snowy Escape hints (but then I'm not very observant), what were they please? :smile:
(I make make-shift hotels using the restaurant lot type, but I'd like proper hotels :lol: ).
