I'm really disappointed that it's a stuff pack. A massive waste of an interesting theme.
We could've been able to play as the grim reaper but instead we're just gonna get some more spooky furniture as if spooky stuff isn't already there... Guessing there'll be some sort of ghost hunting thing from the teasers they're posting, but it's still a stuff pack so it won't be an in depth career. Yay for Spooky Stuff 2.0!
RIP my hopes and dreams for happy haunts.
Maybe if enough people pester the Guru's about wanting proper Happy Haunts pack they'll eventually cave and turn it into an EP, I mean it worked for Eco-Living, so why not Occult stuff?- catloverplayerSeasoned AceI'm hoping for a Livestream. I've already mentioned it to TheSims on Twitter.

Because it's a stuff pack that due to its popularity in votes could potentially have been a Gamepack. Indeed, wonderful books were written about the potential of Happy Haunts...(well...threads).
But..we actually don't know what we're going to get yet...it remains to be seen.
What we do see is a bunch of cute little ghosts. Maybe that's not what many occult players had in mind when voting for Happy Haunts...but at least they're happy... - I think they made it a stuff pack so not to take away from Nifty Knitting. Imagine if the #1 pack was a SP whilst #2 pack is turned into a GP?!?

But the original vote was for a stuff pack. If happy haunts was popular enough for a GP, then the same would also apply to the winner, the even more popular theme. We missed out on several arts and crafts items from the vote like pottery, embroidery and glass fabrication. There was definitely enough interest for a hobby GP.
Besides maybe some of the things that are not included show up as part of another pack somewhere down the line."GracieO312;c-17767855" wrote:

Good point. - IsharellNew Spectator"All will be revealed" sounds like what you'd hear from a fortune teller. Maybe the SP will be the seance table and a psychic career with furniture, ect. They could always split the Happy Haunts theme and include the other things in a GP or EP later. All those things HH was originally tallking about sounds like too much for a SP.
- DaWaterRatNew VanguardBased on the replies on the Forums (and elsewhere) I would have expected a Grim Reaper pack, but then again, I was expecting the Granny Chic art style to win for Nifty Knitting, and it didn't. Reminding me of just how small a portion of the fandom is actually active and vocal on-line.
So based on the image and wording, I'm leaning now towards Ghost Hunter, perhaps with some elements of Psychic thrown in for aesthetics (which is all the Psychic I need to set up my con artist sims...) - logionXSeasoned Hotshot

I thought that they would make the grim reaper career too, they even included a grim reaper doll in the Nifty Knitting pack.
But I think they went with Psychic, that's what the outfit looks like to me, that could also explain the weird looking ghosts and "let the investigation begin". - I suppose Spooky Stuff combined with Spookier Stuff kind of makes it a Game Pack
lol spookier stuff
