I have to defend the game, if Sims was completly result driven, ambitious and very smart, all I hade to do as a player was to start the game in the evening, go to bed and in the morning they would have completed their aspirations, reached the top level in every career and succesfully raised a family. Part of the games charm is the idiotic actions and how they try to sabbotage each other. If there are only one bathroom on the lot and the Sim I am playing needs desperatelly to go to the bathroom, I can be sure that some other Sim will rush to the bathroom and occupy it. A big part of the games charm is when they drive me crazy, like in a horrormovie when a character decides to go down alone into that dark basement.
