If you complete this aspiration, your sim gets the Player reward trait. Basically They can have as many relationships as they want without jealousy.

Try selecting the sim you want this to apply to and type "traits.equip_trait player" into the cheat console. Might need "testingcheats on" first.

If you want to remove the trait later type "traits.remove_trait player"

I've tried typing in traits.equip_trait SerialRomantic several times and it goes through or something but when I click her she doesn't have the added trait? I'm looking in the head icon.
Am I looking in the wrong place?

I don't think capitalisation matters, but if it doesn't work capitalise the P.

Interesting, because my sims never get jealous when romantically involved with multiple sims, they get the sad emotions instead. Will the player cheat work for that as well?

For some reason I can't get this to work. My Sim is a serial romantic, but his spouse isn't and this is causing problems because he likes to flirt, I tried it both with the little p and the capital P, when I shift click on him it doesn't come up as an option. By the way is it necessary to turn testingcheats off or can I just leave it on because I frequently want to use cheats?

Testingcheats do not stay on unless you have a mod to keep them always on other wise it turns off when ever you change zones or exit the game. MCCC also has a module that would turn off jealousy, if you wouldn't mind a mod.

@Bearflex you have to complete the serial romantic aspiration in order to get the player trait. That is why there is problems with the spouse.

One can either download the MC Command Center mod, use the cheat code or complete the aspiration to have no jealousy in your game.

@CastieI The MC Command Center Mod option with in the settings "Allow Polygamy" enabling that should allow you to have polygamist household.

I tried the above cheat and it didn't work although my Sim had the love aspiration. I liked the Sims 3 better because I could get the no jealousy reward using points--which prevented the bay fighting in the Sims 2. I hope he developers offer this option again in a patch. I don't know how I feel about using mods.

Regarding the cheats. it's confusing because I've read in several threads one had to turn cheats off to prevent game glitches. I noticed that I don't have to turn on cheats to use cheat commands like motherlode.
