There was a Maxis Monthly in 9 out of 12 months last year. At least where I work, if we had a monthly call that only had to be cancelled 3 times in the course of 12 months we would still proudly call it a monthly call. To be honest I would not have thought people would get so emotional about a Maxis Monthly not going ahead.
I remember in 2018, when they did have a Maxis monthly every month and dared to not talk about the game, people said it was a "waste of time" and "why did they even bother having one?"
