No modeling career in Get Famous?

But High fashion - I am relieved someone else is handling that and not really in this ep if it is anything at all like that was in Superstar - I am stoked by the acting and all they cover, not just the same grueling hospital scene every day- looks way more interesting and vast compared to Superstar. Can't wait to see all of it including the free career info to come but definitely buying - I have seen enough to know it is superstar even better. TO ME. Keep that in mine - I say to me. I actually thought those were hilarious. :D I feel like the outfits were a jab from Maxis at actual haute couture. You could also model lingerie in the catwalk, and I would definitely make those outfits my sims' PJs if I could.

I did read that the modeling activities were spaced far apart, so if you wanted your sim to be exclusively a model, it would be harder to rise through the ranks. Otherwise, I don't see much of a difference in difficulty between the movie set, catwalk, and music video shoots. They're all time-consuming, and you only get two tries.

I just want to say I want the other Superstar careers back one day—with all of the props and equipment and everything that goes with them.

I just have to wait another year (or even more years) for them. *sighs*

I’m fine with saving up money for my entertainment. A lot of video games are pretty pricey nowadays, so I’m not sticker-shocked or anything. I can also wait for sales, if money’s tight.

It’s the whole splitting up the content, and the waiting, the hoping that your turn comes up for the content that is the agonizing part. (And then seeing some limitations on certain things and getting a mild disappointment.)

Exactly, it starts to feel like it really is a money grab since TS4 sells so well, and has even more money now for bigger and more indepth EPs, but where is it spent? On backdrops.

For the topic at hand, I just hope modeling is in a fashion pack. If even THAT gets split up, then, yes, I’m going to start to feel really ripped off or impatient by then.

For now, I’m just going to see how the film career and the fame and reputation systems work before I make a full judgement and decision on this pack. I do like the movie stuff in general, and I’m interested in the fame/reputation systems, so this can keep me preoccupied while I wait for other content.

Indeed, from the looks of the trailer, it looks like a Game Pack. The Fame system, 1 world and 1 Career do not cost $40. That would be like if they sold Seasons with only Winter, Fall and the Calendar.

We've not had a full world with a Game Pack, at all. Game Packs have only come with a neighbourhood. We've also seen nothing but the trailer and a short blog intro. Maybe wait a bit before deciding that this is everything?

This world seems like it only has three neighborhoods though :\ That's how much Granite Falls has.

My guess is it's possibly 4, but I'm not entirely sure.

2 residential, 1 community lots (park/nightclub etc) and 1 studio neighbourhood that may have special lots for the acting career, similar to the GTW career lots.
