No, but the likes/dislike system was more impressive than expected imo. It has in game effects, rather than just being background information. It could be used to make your sims more unique. - aejp245 years agoSeasoned Ace

Except that it's base game and only a small portion of that is pack-related. There isn't a whole lot of new gameplay with this pack which means most people will have become bored after a week or two wanting to know what the next pack is. I need more gameplay in my game. My sims will have nice houses and decorations but sims will still lack personality (which I admit they have been approving upon), depth, and barely any new interactions between sims themselves. My sims can interact with countless objects but they don't have any new animations with sims being sociable with each other. They have the same animation with a lot of friendly interactions and my sim children still can't play games together without an object. - troshalom5 years agoSeasoned Ace@auroraael14 I would think the new likes/dislikes would add to sims' personalities. Why do you think it won't and what do you think needs to be done to improve personalities?

No new traits added.
I would love some new traits. I know there’s a few more in the rewards store but you have to get the points. I’d like some of them moved to be selected in CAS. There’s a couple from expansion and game packs.
I think we’ve only had two additional patched in which were jealous and kleptomaniac.
When I remember The Sims 3 base game had so many traits to choose from! - atreya335 years agoLegendI am really happy with likes and dislikes being patched into the base game. I think it will add more personality to my sims because it has effect in live mode. And these likes and dislikes don't take up a trait slot like a trait would have.
A new trait would have been nice but I am far more excited about likes and dislikes than I would have been about a trait. - KaraGaelford5 years agoSeasoned Ace

You'll definitely not get any argument from me on any of those points. I want more gameplay too, but at least its something that might make some difference. That's what I hope anyway. - aejp245 years agoSeasoned Ace

I think it will add to them and I admitted that they've been adding things here and there to the sims personality. Which is great and I hope they continue to upgrade them but as it stands this isn't going to be game changing and we have a ways to go before my sims feel like individuals. (My opinion)
