No parenting option for baby alien from 'mom'?
Finally got my male Sim pregnant, but now his wife has no parenting option even coming up when I click on the toddler. Is it intended?

If she's not the toddler's mother, then yes, it's intended. With the wife active, click the toddler and then 'Toddler Care>Adopt as Care Dependant.' I think there is an alternative option to choose caregivers when the toddler is active. This will make the parenting options appear for the wife.
