No roommates? (Discover University)

So I decided to try the roommate system for the first time outside of University and dorm rooms. My sim owns a house in Strangerville and I wanted him to get a roommate for extra income. I put up an advertisement for a roommate and nothing happened. After two sim days, I canceled the advertisement. I'm thinking this might have something to do with the NPCC mod I have?

    I also attempted having roommates, twice, and my sim did get some. They stayed put until I started my game back up, and all the roommates had moved out. The other time I was having issues with a roommate (an adult woman) flirting with the child of the household.

    How long did it take for them to show up? Because they didn't even show up for me

    It was the next day they started showing up.

    yea that didn't happen with me. I wonder if it has anything to do with the NPCC mod that is prohibiting the game from generating townies? When I go to my homeless sims tab in manage households, only Father Winter has been in there

    Hi, I would like to know how can my sim add her boyfriend as a roommate? Is there a cheat or how do I make him homeless to add him?

    I had one show up after a week. My male sim didn't want her as a roommate but he did woohoo first and sent her away. lol. Typical dude!

    I did that once. To have the boyfriend be a roommate, you first need to make sure the boyfriend is a homeless sim, and then the option will be there.
