Nobody will come to lot
I’m living on the residential lot in San Myshuno, same building as the karaoke bar. My sim called her friend to invite to hang out at current lot and they said they’d come over, but it’s been two days...

Yes focus the camera on who you’ve invited. They sometimes linger nearby the lot.
I downloaded Simproved’s Pride and Prejudice mansion a while back, placed it on Windenburg the island bit but accidentally put it back to front. The visitors were off to the side further away where the front door should be. They didn’t run round but stayed there ??♂️?.
I had to put a new front door so they would come in.
