I've been wanting to post this for a while. Whenever I am making female sims, I get to choose from a majority of high heeled open types of shoes and just a 'handful' of 'normal' shoes. Whenever it gets to the business or party clothing the balance is even worse. I have to pick from the masculine shoes more often then not. I am all for having a choice (if you like to put your female sim on high-heeled straps, because much more then straps most arent, thats fine by me) but I would like to have a bigger variety to choose from! Just my 2 cents though!

Loafers would be nice for some pants or skirts. Closed- toe shoes were always hard to find in this game. The flats in this game were alright but they need more.

I'd like to see more basic shoes too, especially more flat options. Like have mary-janes, creepers, ballet flats but with different types of shapes and/or decorations and straps, oxfords, etc. They can all have some nice neutral options, like black, grey, tan, brown, cream, blush and some extra colourful swatches. More emphasis on neutrals though. I like colour but honestly most people I know wear neutral coloured shoes. Combat style, platforms, knee high canvas shoes, etc. And of course the colours and materials, same as mentioned for the flats. Oh, OP. I'm a shoe nut, you're speaking my language. Yes, TS4 needs more shoes. All kinds of shoes. Male and Female, adults and children. Just more shoes. <3Btw, those ballerina flats are adorable. I realize that the hole is there to let the feet breathe. I only wish that they'd hidden the hole under the flowers. Otherwise, I would have been hunting those shoes down until I could bring them home to live with me. :D

I definitely wish they'd add a better variety of flats and sneakers. I wear heels like once a year, haha. 9/10 I'm wearing Converse or cheap pair of flats I bought a Target.

Seriously, you'd think since 85% of CAS is lady wear, there'd be plenty of everything, lol.

Everything except flats. (IMO)

And also slippers. Not a single pair of heels slippers with fuzz!

Exactly. I mean, I love being able to choose and stuff, and sometimes the open shoe high heel open toe and stuff can come in very nice. But right now if you don't want a half naked female sim, then what do you do? You choose masculine clothes. This shouldn't be necessary. I mean I can wear feminine clothes that aren't split halfway across at the neckline and shoes that I won't break my legs and back on and still look very nice.

This seems to be what the devs thought about when making these shoe options for sims. But there is an element of preference in this. Personally I don't even know women that wear high heals. I mean, none at all. I only see that in A] movies an B] the sims. And I feel like there should be more variety for my sims to choose from.

Well apparently not. Not in non-highheel-barefeet type of shoes. And honestly, I wouldn't mind swapping half of those for some real options if you think they have too many. (I know they would never do that, but still, its an idea.) I don't care very much for having 100 of the same type of high-heel break-your-neck cold-feet types of shoes to pick from. That is not "plenty of everything", that is "plenty of one thing". But then again, this is just my opinion, which is why I made this topic!
