Btw, those ballerina flats are adorable. I realize that the hole is there to let the feet breathe. I only wish that they'd hidden the hole under the flowers. Otherwise, I would have been hunting those shoes down until I could bring them home to live with me. :D
They're Melissa shoes, they're made of recyclable plastic and they're SUPER comfy too. I have a pair, but not that specific one. I like that you can put it in the recycling bin when they break, but I don't expect it to happen anytime soon... Had mine for about 3 years and they're still good as new (minus some scratches) and I've been wearing them a LOT. And yeah the hole is there for your foot to breathe, since it's plastic, can get hot. I can understand not liking that design choice though. They have other shoes but honestly they're a bit too pricey for me. I might be cheap though, lol.
I've got a LOT more flats than heels, and it's a shame the team thinks that everyone wears heels and/or exposes their feet all the time. Maybe it's because of the English climate but I don't actually have many open shoes.
