I wouldn't call flat shoes "normal shoes". If anything they're an ugly trend that needs to go away. I've never seen a woman with flat shoes and thought to myself "Oh wow, nice shoes there". It's like the woman was wearing slippers ; it never matches with any outfit. Flat shoes are an anomaly. Sorry but I just had to say it out loud. This hate for flat shoes runs deep in me.
