- They nerfed weather deaths pretty much entirely even though there was a toggle included with the pack to keep weather from affecting sims.

Toggles only work if people actually use them and the dollhouse crowd won’t. They prefer to simply have key pack features removed for their convenience and immersion, and anyone who specifically paid good money for those features can just go kick rocks.
If this is true they could disable them by default and give those who are willing the option to turn occults on. They did this with whims after all.
Except the people who complain the most, and the loudest don’t use the toggles provided. That’s my point. I made a whole list of stuff that has toggles and still got nerfed because the complainers literally didn’t want to use them. I don’t see how an on/off switch is any different. Weather effects on your sims has an on off switch. It got nerfed because people still complained, and some even stated they didn’t want to use the switch. The same thing happened two weeks ago with the Paranormal Stuff pack. Someone on Twitter was asking to have paranormal activity nerfed on the haunted house lot type because the hauntings were “too much”. Another user pointed out you can change the lot type and shut the activity off, and the other person literally said, they want to play the lot type just without all the activity. I mean, come on. So I just don’t see the point of the toggle/on-off switch.
