Sounds like a great patch. And I have some wishes...

It would be great if the family recipes would include nectar making. Adding extras to the nectar recipe would really make for nice ranch/family traditions!
And, I do hope they might make sims less busy preparing group meals when I enter a lot at 2 AM. I play rotationally and normally switch lots while sims are supposed to sleep, but way to often find that nobody is in bed but they are grilling or cooking... should be easy to program that when entering a house between 1AM and say 5AM most sims are asleep. I guess their hunger bar overrules all logics...
I do the same, rotating households in the wee hours of the morning when most Sims should be asleep. And lately, in the new household, most of them are up and about, cooking food or working on a computer or reading or playing on a jungle gym or whatever.
