Odd question. Is there a cheat to destroy television or other gadgets/electronics?

Coz I'm having a Big Brother challenge (are you familiar with that) and one of the challenges I'll make for the house guests is to fix gadgets/electronics and whoever fix them faster will become Head ...

I'd probably go with Calico's suggestion because it is probably the easiest. As a more difficult alternative, I recently destroyed some electronics in my game by leaving them out in the rain.
